Anna Szot
A graduate of the Academy of Music in Krakow, piano class. A scholarship holder at Northern Illinois University, she completed postgraduate studies with an MA in piano accompaniment and an MA in Choral Conducting; she worked at the Bemowo Cultural Center and cooperated with the Warsaw Chamber Opera. She teaches and accompanies music schools in Warsaw. For many years she has been running his own piano learning studio. Spends her free time in her garden or cycling, loves painting and architecture.
Monika Kilian
Soprano discovered by Sister Cecylia CSFN at the age of 6, she learned the choral craft for 12 years at CZA ZHP im. Władysław Skoraczewski at the Grand Theater in Warsaw, then Alla Polacca; graduate of WTM in the class of Mrs. Teresa Stankiewicz. Group member since October 2017. She deals with HR professionally and with passion. Privately - wife of one husband, mother of three wonderful daughters, also singers, organizer of historical games.
Danuta Opacka
A graduate of the 1st Department of AMiFC, she sang in the choir of the National Philharmonic throughout her professional life (35 years). Hundreds of concerts, trips, great conductors and soloists, but above all, co-existence in one large (about 100-person) "Family" of choir artists. She took part in many musical projects outside the Philharmonic. The most interesting are: dubbing for Walt Disney's film "Beauty and the Beast" and cooperation with the Kwadrofonik music group in the project: Steve Reich "Music for 18 Musicans". "Currently, I have the great pleasure of singing chamber music in the Scala Sancta band, led by my friend Ania Szot, to which she devotes all her heart and energy. We sing because we like it - this is our approach to making music together. And apart from music, I love exercise (fitness, cycling, rowing a boat) and sports (volleyball, table tennis).”
Katarzyna Bortkun
A graduate of the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, composer, arranger, teacher, pianist and conductor. She sings because she likes it. Additionally, she loves cycling, reading, crocheting and swimming.
Joanna Kiełbiewska
An accordionist by education, a music teacher by practice, and a lover of singing, especially children's singing, by choice. What do all these activities have in common? The answer is simple: a beautiful melody line, that's why I sing alto in Scala Sancta.
Agnieszka Bogdewicz
Mathematician, lecturer at the Warsaw University of Technology, mother of four children, graduate of The Józef Elsner's Secondary School of Music in the singing class, Sings - BECAUSE YES, She likes reading, sailing, hiking (she used to climb), traveling, she's a member of historical reenactment group (late Middle Ages, i.e. "cans"), she sews clothes and shoes for her group.
