Scala Sancta.
We are a group of musicians and enthusiasts united by the joy of singing together. The group was formed in Warsaw in January 2016. The debut concert took place on June 26, 2016. Since then, we have been happy to perform on many stages, both in churches, cultural institutions, as well as in outdoors during historical, educational and patriotic celebrations.
Repertoire.
Our repertoire includes works by composers from various eras – from the Renaissance to contemporary music. We perform patriotic songs, as well as Polish carols and Christmas songs from different countries. Composers include: Mikołaj Gomółka, Wacław from Szamotuły, Jacob Arcadelt, Mikołaj Zieleński, William Byrd, Maurice Duruflé, John Tavener, Marek Raczyński and others.

Meet our group.
Anna Szot
Founder and conductor of the vocal group Scala Sancta. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Krakow, piano class. A scholarship holder at Northern Illinois University, she completed postgraduate studies with an MA in piano accompaniment and an MA in Choral Conducting; she worked at the Bemowo Cultural Center and cooperated with the Warsaw Chamber Opera. She teaches and accompanies music schools in Warsaw. For many years she has been running his own piano learning studio. Spends her free time in her garden or cycling, loves painting and architecture.
